at November 28, 2016 0 comments
Hello, everybody! Welcome back to my blog!

Recently I got the chance to go to London! While I was there I saw one of my favourite bands - Twenty-one Pilots - for the second time! I was also able to watch the opening act, Bry, who is one of
my favourite singers in the whole world.

Night Out Makeup!

at October 07, 2016 0 comments
Hello, everybody! Welcome back to my blog!

Now, I am not one who really enjoys going on nights out... In fact, the moment I hear my friends suggest it I shriek! I don't drink alcohol so bare in mind that I am completely sober throughout the whole night and I'm usually tucked up in bed by 9pm.

New Skin Care Routine - August 2016

at August 28, 2016 0 comments
Hello Everybody! Welcome back to my blog!

Now... I have a confession... I've never been able to keep a skin care routine for more than a month. I am that type of person that just gets a bit bored of doing the same routine every single day and so I would inevitably just... give up!

A lot of the time I would also be using products that weren't right for my skin type and they would make me breakout. Obviously, this made me stress out a lot which, would inevitably just stress me out more because I knew that it needed to get sorted!

Finally... In August 2016, I may have found a skin care routine that works for me!

While on holiday in Devon, I went to The Body Shop. They were selling little kits of skin care products for different skin types. I think this was such a brilliant idea as there so many people - including myself - that struggle with skin care!

The kit that I was told that would be best for me and my skin was the cleanser, toner and moisturiser that is made with Aloe! I use this products every morning whether or not I'm wearing makeup and every evening after I take off my makeup.

Rimmel London BB Cream Review

at August 27, 2016 0 comments
Good evening my lovelies!!!

Recently I have bought the Rimmel London BB Cream because it is now summer and I enjoy using lightweight products during this time of year. I have been wearing this for about two weeks now. At first, I struggled to gain an actual opinion on this product; there would be some days where I really loved it, and then there would be days where I felt my makeup looked AWFUL!!

This product says that it primes, moisturises, helps minimise pores, conceals, covers, smoothes, mattifies, brightens and helps protect. They also claim that it lasts all day. It also has an SPF of 25, which is quite beneficial for this time of year, however, wouldn't be recommended for flash photography.

As it is a BB Cream, this product is incredibly lightweight! I find this to be a positive because it doesn't feel heavy on your face like foundation sometimes does. As I mentioned before, it has an SPF of 25, which has both pros and cons because although it isn't advised for flash photography, it will protect your skin from the sun!
I find the wear of this BB Cream to be very good, it lasts all day and didn't go patchy and didn't need touching up. I also don't wear a powder with it and it still works well!

However, like all products, it has its downsides...

First of all, it likes to cling to my dry patches! This is very frustrating for me because it wouldn't blend out... and when it did it took soooo long! Although it says it's moisturising, I would still recommend wearing a hydrating moisturiser underneath because I felt as the day went on, it did make my skin feel quite dry.
Another thing I would recommend is that, because it is so lightweight, it doesn't really cover blemishes enough, so a concealer might be beneficial.

Overall, I think this is good product, however if you have dry skin or dry patches on your skin then this might not be the product for you!

Thank you all for reading! I really do appreciate it!

All the love,

Makeup Of The Day!

at July 22, 2016 0 comments
Good evening my beautiful followers! How are you all? I hope you're doing well!

Remember when I said that I would write every day in July... well I didn't realise that I had two holidays, so unfortunately writing every day might have to wait for a less busy month!

Today I am sharing with you the makeup I wore today (or much rather tonight).

As it is summer and the weather has been crazy hot, I decided to go for a BB cream instead of foundation! I used one by Rimmel London, I've only used this a few times so I'm still not totally sure on my opinion of it just yet but I will be doing a review once I have my thoughts gathered. As usual, I used the Lasting Perfection concealer by Collection under my eyes and on any blemishes!

Moving onto eyes! I decided to try and something different today! I used the Maybelline New York colour tattoo cream eyeshadow in the shade pink-gold; this colour is so lovely! It's incredibly pigmented and blends beautifully! In the crease and on my outer corner, I used the Maybelline New York the nudes eyeshadow palette. I also used that on my brow bone and my inner corner. For my eyebrows, I used my trusty Brow satin in the shade medium brown!

For my lips, I did something I wouldn't usually do. I decided to use a lip liner to fill in my lips (as if it were a lipstick) and then I took a liquid lipstick from Sleek in the shade Birthday Suit and placed that in the middle of my bottom lip to try and give it that ombre look! Not totally sure if that's what occurred but I like it regardless!

And here's the finished look!

Everyday makeup routine: June 2016

at June 13, 2016 0 comments
Hellooooo my lovely friends! How have you all been? I have been busy busy busy at college trying to get all my work done. Hopefully, that is all sorted now and blog posts shall resume as normal.

To try and make up for my mini hiatus, I am going to be blogging throughout the whole of July! I tried to do this last year and failed miserably but this time, I may go about it a bit differently. And by that, I mean I am going to queue some posts and also write through July too.

Anyway! Today I am going to be sharing with you all my daily makeup routine throughout June!

First of all, I used my holy grail (do people still stay that...?) foundation L'OREAL Paris True Match in the shade N1 Ivory. I then added concealer. My go-to highlight recently has been MUA Highlight shimmer stick.

On to the eyes, I decided to use BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette. I used a shimmery red shade all over the lid and then a bronzey/orange shade in the crease. It's very simple but I think it looks nice! On my brows, I have used the Maybelline Brow satin this is what I always use, it's just a basic filling in and setting product.

On my lips, I have the MUA Velvet lip lacquer in the shade velvet. When I first tried this product I was a little but unsure because the colour is incredibly pale and it's quite a bold colour to wear day-to-day. However, I do really like wearing it and therefore... I will wear it whenever I please.

That's it for today! Thank you all so much for reading, I really appreciate it.

All the love,

Bright Spring Makeup look ft. Scandalous Crime by Makeup Revolution

at April 30, 2016 0 comments
GUESS WHO'S BACK??????

Sooo... I haven't posted - or even wanted to think about posting - in about two months. But have no fear, I am going to tell you why!

I have very bad anxiety and sometimes I let it get the best of me. Every time I thought about blogging, I got very anxious, which ultimately lead to an accidental hiatus. I wanted to tell you sooner that I was maybe going to disappear for a while, but I, unfortunately, have a habit of ignoring these things. However all that is over now and I'm feeling much better.

I don't want to make any promises but I'm going to try and post once a week.

Now to the fun part of today's post...

I love Spring makeup looks because I feel like it's the only the time of year that I really take advantage of brightly coloured lipsticks.

My favourite types of makeup during the Spring and Summer months is no foundation, a pretty highlight, a natural yet shimmery eye look and a bright lip!

The products featured in this makeup look are:

Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer
MUA Highlight Shimmer Stick
Maybelline New York The Nudes eyeshadow palette
Makeup Revolution Scandalous Crime lipstick

Thank you all for reading, I really appreciate it!

Archive by Alexa Chung M&S preview

at February 19, 2016 0 comments
Alexa Chung is one of my favourite fashion icons. Everytime we see her I am even more impressed! Today we were able to see the new collection Archive. To create this amazing new line she worked with M&S and their design team.

The whole collection shall be revealed in April, but for now we can enjoy the previews!

The first thing that caught my eye was this coat inspired by the 1989 Ada blazer, which Alexa then modernised to create this classy number.

This piece is most definitely my favourite. I have been wearing a lot of dresses recently, and I cannot wait to add this to my collection. As the full collection comes out in April, it will be perfect  for a simple Spring/Summer outfit.

Fashion Wishlist - January 2016

at January 29, 2016 0 comments

This month I have been a doing a lot browsing around clothing sites and longing for my bank account to actually have the funds to pay for it all. So I did what I do best and I made a list of all my favourite items.

First on the list is this really cute dress from New Look. Recently the only thing that I want to wear is dresses and I only have two that I like to wear on a day-to-day basis, which has left me into looking high and low for cute dresses that I will be able to wear anywhere and everywhere.

While looking around on the New Look website, I also found this awfully cute dress! These sleeveless swing dresses are my favourite. I also really love the colour. I feel like the colour yellow is going to make many appearences in a lot more clothing stores this year. The last thing I found on New Look is this adorable skater dress. Much like swing dresses, skater dresses are another one of my favourites!

Okay brace yourself for this next one... I found a skirt with pockets. You heard me right... POCKETS!!! I realise that this mini skirt isn't the only the skirt in the world with pockets, and I understand that it certainly won't be the last. In fact, as far as I am aware, mini skirts with pockets are actually quite popular. But I really like this one; I think it's cute!

That's all for today! Thank you all for reading, I really appreicate it!

December Favourites 2015

at January 03, 2016 0 comments

Unfortunately December was quite a slow month in terms of favourites. Due to college and reading everyone's blogmas posts - as well as try and get some in there myself -  I struggled to stop and figure out what I was enjoying during the month of Decemeber. Basically, December is just a blur and I haven't got much to offer today.

First on my list is a book! Reading for me is very soothing and makes me calm down from panic attacks because it forces me to focus. My favourite author is Edgar Allan Poe and this month I have read a lot of his work in The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Writings published by Pengiun Classics. My most favourite so far has been The Black Cat.

A few months ago I bought a coat from Amazon just to use for college that could fit in my bag (turns out it doesn't, my bag is smaller than I though). Although, I still love it and this month, here in England I've been able to get away with wearing this coat with just a jumper underneath as it hasn't been as cold as usual. The only thing I dislike about this coat is the length of the sleeves; they are incredibly short and even though I'm quite short, they barely fit me. Apart from that though, I think it's a lovely coat that's ideal for warm weather and the cold too if a jumper is worn underneath. Overall, I like it a lot.

That's all for today! Thank you all for reading, I really appreciate it!
